FMS#211





Hi, everyone!!!!


I've got a card to share using this week's sketch at the Freshly Made Sketches Blog.
This is the lovely sketch:


...and my card:







I used dry wall tape and Black Soot DI for the sponging on the bg.
Leaves stamp and die from PTI.
Flower dies from MFT.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.



That's it!!!  I'll be calling this a day now as my bed is calling!!!!

  11. Hi Petra, I must try and get some of this dry wall tape as it makes such a pretty and interesting background on your beautiful card. I love the flowers and leaves and pretty circular frames and cleverly draped twine behind. x

  24. You're the queen of sketches, Petra, and this card is yet more evidence of this truth! Your cluster of die cut images: a harmony of composition. The drywall stenciling a most special touch that adds to the WOW factor. Gorgeous!

  25. Are you kidding me with this card!!?? Again your use of black is bar none the best I have seen. And your background is GREY!! What!! are you feeling okay?.. LOL!! I love the contrast of grey, black and white.. Your lack of color is what makes this card incredible! Your touch of green is perfect also the background stamp on the grey is so nice my friend!! Again blending the modern circles with the traditional flowers.. I just can't stop staring at it!!!
