Had some time during the weekend to make a card to link at the Freshly Made Sketches challenge!!!! The sketch for the week:

B&W striped paper from Kaisercraft.
Flower and flourish dies from MFT.
Butterfly stamp from PTI.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.
Sandie has just pointed out to me that my card fits the challenge at Inspirational, too, where you have to use red on your card. I will be linking my card there, too. This is a new challenge to me and I will definitely be playing there in future again!!!!!

ReplyDeleteWe waren tegelijk met de challenge bezig! Jouw kaart is weer prachtig! Mooi de tegenstelling van de kleuren. En wat bijzonder dat je kaartjes maakt voor en winkel die ze verkoopt. Je maakt dus veel meer dan dat je laat zien. Dank je wel voor je leuke reacties op mijn kaartje. Dat waardeer ik enorm.

What a pretty card Petra. Love the pop of colors! The yellow, red and green look great with the black. The striped background looks great... and oh, that sweet butterfly! Perfect composition.

ReplyDeleteThis is very pretty Petra and I love the black and white stripes and the interesting way you have cut the flower into the top layer and using this under the left side of the flower and letting the stripes show through the negative space. I adore the brightly coloured flower and the pretty green and black leafy flourishes too. Really stylish! x
