Time to join in the fun over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog.
The sketch for the week:
Those of you who visit my blog regularly will know that I am not good at working with watercolours!! I always have lots of ideas of what I would like to achieve, but it just never works out the way I want it to!!
But with this card it was different! My watercolouring turned out EXACTLY the way I wanted it to!!! When I looked at the CTS sketch I immediately knew what I wanted to do, but I thought it would again not end up as I see it in my mind!! But here it is and I'm so happy with it!!!
I started off by spritzing some water on regular cs and then having droplets of black paint fall onto the wet surface. Sprayed some more water on it, let it run a bit and added some more colour here and there. Then just dabbed it with a paper towel. Easy peasy and I love it!!
Daisy die from MFT. Coated the daisies with Embossing paste and heat embossed with glittery EP.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Just for you'.
Added some black plastic dots as a finishing touch.

I must say I am not always a fan of using water colors in this manner but this was a perfect application of it. The heat embossed daisies and black dots were placed perfectly. This is a true masterpiece. As always I love the setting and the blooming flower is beautiful. Excellent Petra. Excellent.
