Hi everyone!!!
I've got two cards to share this morning!!!! Both cards were inspired by the current sketch over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog.
This is the sketch:
and the first card I made:
I've sponged the tags with DIs and heat embossed the swirl and butterfly with clear EP. The tags are price tags that I've bought at a local stationary shop.
Swirl stamp from PTI.
Butterfly stamp from Crafty Individuals.
Small circle stamp from Altenew.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.
The one tag looks as if it's not neatly lined up with the swirl on the card front, but that's because of the angle at which I photographed the card and the fact that I've slightly curled up the bottom corners of the tags.
On the second card I have taken it a bit too far to link at the challenge - don't think this will go through as a CAS card!!!!

Chevrons cut with Tim Holtz Chevron die.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

ReplyDeletePersonally, I think your second card is definitely CAS. Tons of white space and a neat & tidy focal point works!
ReplyDeleteTwo more fab creations Petra! Price tags - you go girl...love your resourcefulness! I REALLY love the vertical black enamel dot 'line' on your second card...creates beautiful 'movement' to your design.
Love both of these. They are so beautiful. Pretty colors, as well. Blue and yellow is such a classic color combination.
