Hi everyone!!!
I got to know about a new (for me) challenge!!! It's at the Global Design Project Blog and I decided to join in the fun of CASEing a card by Connie Collins.
This is what my card looks like:
Sentiment stamp and die from Verve.
Notebook edge die from MFT.
The piece of ledger paper is from Teresa Collins.
Added a twine bow, some hand punched flowers and black plastic dots to finish it off.
I'm tired and will be calling this a day now!!! Off to bed I am!!!!

Another terrific creation Petra my dear friend! LOVE your interpretation of the inspiration card! love that great, big 'u' with the two strips of black threaded through like that and the 'love' embossed with gold on the top of the 'u'. So many great touches, it's a feast for the eyes again. I have to keep coming back to look! Have a lovely day my friend! Hazel xx

ReplyDeleteI love your take on Connie's pretty card by using the colours in your own unique style Petra and the way you have tucked the black strips through the letter and added the pretty flowers and twine and enamel dots and the more neutral notebook layer makes the embellishments stand out even more. x

ReplyDeleteI love the stripes contained within the "U." It picks up on the inspiration card perfectly. And the glittery gold 'love' is perfect against the red. The sprinkling of flowers really mimics the hearts too. Beautiful card. Just love this. Bev

ReplyDeleteOh I like this one too! You have a way with die-cuts and you arrange them so beautifully! Love how the flowers flow diagonally and how you have added the thin black strips through the U - brilliant!
