Another CTS#183

Hi everyone!!!!


I made another card to link at the current sketch challenge over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog!!!  This is the sketch:


and my second take on it:



This time I worked with washi tape.
Leaf die from Couture Creations.  Thread nest behind the leaf.
Swirl stamp from Altenew.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

  5. Ook heel gaaf Petra. Werkt leuk he dat washi-tape? Kun je dat bij jullie ook allemaal kopen of bestel jij veel via internet. Ik kan me er geen voorstelling van maken hoe een knutselwinkel er aan de andere kant van de wereld uit zou kunnen zien..:)

    wat een mooie kaart. De washitape past zo goed in de sketch van de kaart! Dat zou ik er ook bij denken. Het blad is schitterend. En ook de kleien stempeltjes die je gebruikte er net naast.

  14. I wish I had thought of washi tape for that sketch. I've got a ton of it and it makes the card so interesting to look at! The leaf is a perfect focal point too!

    Clean, simple, PERFECTLY balanced design, gorgeous colors and precisely placed wee swirls and dots...which in my humble opinion totally sends this card soaring off the "Awesome Chart".

  23. What a gorgeous colour palette, Petra ... love the natural look of the leaf in wood ... delicious dimension! Just had a lovely meander round after being MIA in blogland for a few weeks ... such a sweet little snowman for CTS too ... and stunning stencilled backgrounds using those fantastic, bold DI colours!
