Hi everyone!!!!


A last minute card to link at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog!!!!!  This is the sketch:

This is my card:

I've used a stamp I got as a free gift with a magazine very, very long ago and it's the only stamp I own that has balloons on it!!!!!! 
Did a bit of sponging with Stormy Sky DI.
Coloured the little guy with my GraphIt pens and coated the balloons with some WOS.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Enjoy your birthday'.

Hi everyone!!!


I've been very busy with sewing, knitting and crocheting all of last week so I haven't been around in Blogland, but I wanted to make a card for the current sketch challenge over at the Freshly Made Sketches Blog. 

This is the card I've made:
 

Butterfly die and EF from Cuttlebug.
Leaves stamp from PTI.
Star die from MFT.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.


I'll be putting my needles, hooks and sewing machine a bit to the side this week, so I will be popping in at your blogs shortly!!!!

Friends of ours' daughter is studying nature conservation at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University here in George and she has to do an assignment on scorpions.  We went hiking and scorpion hunting with her this morning and I took the opportunity to take some photo's!!!!

Fusion (Pretty in Pink)

Hi everyone!!!!


A card to link at the Fusion Card Challenge Blog.  The photo and sketch:

I was inspired by both the photo and the sketch to make my card:

 

The horizontal strip at the bottom I've done with scorelines and I've also got three scorelines at the top.
I've used Tattered Rose and Stormy Sky DI's for the sponging.
Leaves stamps from PTI.  Leaves stamped with Blueberry ink from MFT.
Flower and sentiment dies from MFT.

When I first saw the new sketch at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog I thought it was a tough one, but then I started playing with it last night and made this card.  And then this morning I continued playing with this sketch:
