Hi everyone!
The challenge this week at AAA Cards is to use watercolour techniques.
This is the card I have made:
I've fussy cut the stamped flowers and painted one with watercolour paints and gave it some shine with Stickles. I've also added some shade behind the flowers, with watercolour paints. The flower stamp is from a local craft shop, Great Impressions and the chevron stamp is by Verve. Added some twine and rhinestones and it was done!!
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.
I'm off to have a steaming hot cup of tea - it's COLD here - we're in the middle of winter!!!
Hope you're having a nice day!!!
Keep well!
Kind regards
Petra

Lovely card Petra. Great idea just using colour on the central flower and the stickles certainly does it's job.......gorgeous!

Hey Petra!! WOW both your card and your background are amazing. I love the watercolor flowers and the twine behind it. Great dimension. Wonderfully done. I am in love with your background. That view is amazing. I live in NYC and we do not have mountains. Simply stunning.

So pretty, Petra ... the pop of colour with the shimmery stickles is gorgeous ... love the twine 'nest'! Anita :)
Stunning! And WOW - the details...the shadow behind the flowers, the sproinky twine, the sweet wee chevron, the perfectly 'scattered' bits of bling...
I'm truly in awe of your sense of balance and design!
