CTS#105 and Fusion

Hallo everyone!!!

Hope you're enjoying the Sunday so far!!!  We had a lovely buffet lunch at the world famous Fancourt hotel and now the boys have gone fishing, so I've got some time to spend in my craft room, with no one blowing in my neck to play Minecraft on my computer!!!

I have three cards to share with you today.
First up is the card I am entering for the challenge over at the Fusion card Challenge Blog.  They are celebrating their first birthday and what great challenges they have bought us during 2014!!!!  I didn't play as much as I would have liked to, but this year I will hopefully have time to play their game more often - it is such great fun to work with both a photo and a sketch!!!!

I've used elements from both the photo and the sketch to make this card:

Dp from Teresa Collins.  Borderpunch from Upikit.
Flower stamp and die from Verve.  Bg stamps used on chalkboard, from Glitz.
Heat embossed the chalkboard frame with gold EP.
A button with a twine bow, some rhinestones and a paper clip added to finish it off.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Happy Birthday'

Next up is my entry for the sketch challenge over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog.

This is my card:

Dp from Teresa Collins.
Stamps and 'U' die from Verve.
I've used clear 3D Gloss to add the shiny circles to the card,  I have also given the 'U' some shine with the 3D Gloss.
Added a twine bow and black plastic dots as finishing touches.

My last card just happened while playing with bits of dp paperand cs at my craft table last night.
I quite like how it turned out so I thought I would share it with you.

Dp from Heidi Swapp.
Used some Spellbinder dies.
Arrow stamp by Verve. Cogs cut with X-cut dies from Do Crafts.
A paper clip, rhinestones and some black plastic dots round it off.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Best Wishes'.

Ok, I'm off - would most probably be back tomorrow with a Mojo Monday card.

Thanks so much for popping in - your visits and comments are always much appreciated!!!

Have a super Sunday!!!

Keep well!!!
Kind regards
Petra

Oh my, Petra, that shimmery gold frame around the chalkboard is glorious ... love the cool look of the love U with the arrows pointing towards the sentiment, and your 'bits of dp and cs' card is fabulous! Bon dimanche! Anita :)

You sure know how to work layers! These are really charming examples of creativity! I especially like that sweet pink striped paper against the faux chalkboard.

I love the way you combine bold patterned papers with so many other details & layers. Every piece comes together to create perfectly balanced cards, Petra! The weaving of the love banner into the "u", and the wonderful texture on the "u" are my favorite details today :)

Ha! Minecraft!!! What is WITH that game! It's a world wide sensation and I can't figure out the appeal. It's kind of like Legos for the computer, I guess that's the draw? My 18 year old still likes to play it now and then!! I never minded because there's nothing objectionable in it, I just don't quite get it!! I didn't like sharing the computer though! :) Ok, well enough of that. I LOVE your cards! LOVE the first with the pink! That was a lot of fun to see because I don't see you use that color very often! Love your glossy dots on the 2nd card! Really fun use of the gears on your last card! All three are great fun!!! Have a wonderful week!

Petra jy is ongelooflik talentvol en hierdie trio skeppings is bewys daarvan. Mal oor die shabby chic gevoel in die eerste een.
Mooi bly
