CTS#115 and FMS#177



Hi everyone!!!



Boy, we've got a very hot summer's day here in George, today, but in the mornings and evenings one can definitely feel that it's autumn!!!  Wishing a lovely spring day to all of you who are anxiously waiting for better weather and summer days!!!

Posting two cards today!!
This is the fun sketch over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog





and this is my card:






I've watercoloured the leaves with DIs.  Leaves stamp and die from PTI.
The black strips are on the card base and the white panels are on foam tape.
Added some scorelines.
Sponged the vellum circles with DI.
The wooden bug was a gift from my dear friend, Angela Bode.
Added a rhinestone and two black plastic dots to complete the card.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Thank you very much.'

I've done sort of a bokeh effect as bg.
Leaves stamp and die from PTI.  Watercoloured the leaves with DIs.
Sponged the ring and circle with DI.
Sentiment banner dies from Verve.  Border punch from American Crafts.
Added some rhinestones and it was done!!!
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Thank you very much'.



Have to run to fetch the boys from school!!!

Mojo Monday #389 and ATCAS#59




Hi everyone!!!



Monday means a new sketch over at the Mojo Monday Blog.

Patterned papers from Kaisercraft.
Flowers and leaves stamps and dies from Verve.  Sentiment banner dies also from Verve.
Arrows cut with Tim Holtz chevron die.
Some dry wall tape, sequins and black plastic dots complete the picture.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.



I've also made a card for the current code word 'Green' over at the Addicted to CAS Blog

Leaves stamp from PTI.  I stamped the leaves with Bundled Sage and Black Soot DIs, on watercolour paper that I've sponged with the Bundled Sage DI.
Butterfly stamp from KaiserCraft.  Painted the butterfly with Bundled Sage and Stormy Sky DI and added some stickles for shine.
The frame and square was cut from moss green cs.
Sentiment stamp from Verve.
Added black plastic dots and it was done.

PPA#243 and VLV March Week1




Hi everyone!!!



Taking part in two challenges!!!
First up is the colour challenge over at the Pals Paper Arts Blog.





This is what my card looks like:





Rose and leaves stamps and dies from PTI.  Stamped with DIs.
Bg stamp from a local craft shop, Great Impressions.
Piece of patterned paper from my stash.
Sentiment banner dies from Verve.
A twine bow and a sequin complete the picture.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: Congratulations'.





Next up is the sketch for week 1 of the Viva la Verve Challenge for March.

Verve stamp sets and coordinating dies used:  Flowers - Joyful Blooms,   Leaves - Lean on Me,   Chevron - Borderline.
Sentiment banner dies also from Verve.
Some sequins and black plastic dots round it off.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

Another FMS#177 and CTS#114



Hi everyone!!!

Posting two cards this afternoon!!!
First up is another card I've made following Karren's lovely sketch over at the Freshly Made Sketches  Blog.

 
This is my second take on the sketch:





 
 
The pieces of patterned paper are from Teresa Collins and MME.
I've got two vertical scorelines on the black strip - not very clear in the photo.
Can't remember where I got the metal butterfly.
Sentiment cut with Tim Holtz alphabet die.
Some twine and a single black plastic dot round it off.
 
 
 
 
I've also made a card for the current sketch over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog.

The flower stamp is from a local craft shop, Great Impressions.
Water coloured the flowers and added some shine with 3d Clear Gloss.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

Given the U some shine with Clear 3D Gloss.
Used some paper clips, sequins and black plastic dots to complete the picture.

Posting two cards this morning!!!
First up is the sketch challenge at the Freshly made Sketches Blog.
This is Cindy's sketch for the week:

Swiss dot EF from Cuttlebug.  Borderpunch from American Crafts.
Used some twine, washi tape, dry wall tape, sequins and black plastic dots to finish it off.

AAA#34




Hi everyone!!!


There's a new, fun, watercolour game over at the AAA Cards Blog  with the code word 'Rain'!!!!


 
 
This is the card I have made for the challenge:


 
 



 
Done the bg panel with Stormy Sky DI and water.
Daisy and leaf dies from MFT.
Raindrops cut with a very tiny leaf die, also from MFT.
Preferred to not add a sentiment at this stage, will most probably use it as it is as a 'Thank You' card.
Added some black plastic dots and it was done!!!
