CTS#113 and another FMS#176

Hi everyone!!!

Another post with two cards to share!!!
First up is my take on the sketch over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog

This is my card:

Flower stamp from a local craft shop, Great Impressions.
Leaves stamp and die from PTI.
Sentiment stamp from Verve.
Given the U some shine with Clear 3D Gloss.
Used some paper clips, sequins and black plastic dots to complete the picture.

This is the sketch over at the Freshly made Sketches Blog for the week.

and my second take on it:

The piece of patterned paper is from Glitz.
Flower and flourish dies from MFT.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Thank you very much'.

Thanks so much for popping in - have a great day!!!!
Till next time!!!

I always have a tough time commenting on the cards you create. These two are no exception. The use of the paper clips in genius and for me at least is the crowning touch. Your second cards is outright gorgeous. The offset panel sets them apart. Excellent Petra.- Jim

Ongelooflike mooi kaartjies Petra!
So slim die paperclips, altyd n storie om vellum sonder onooglike gom merke te laat klou!
Jou FMS kaartjie is net perfek met die swart aksente!

Paper clips! How clever to use them. :D I always struggle when sketch has those half-ribbon-ends since I never know what to do with them and I never would have thought of paper clips and they fit Perfectly on your card design and to the sketch! Awesome card, Petra!

Each of these cards is such a beauty. I will confess that #1 got my attention with your sketch interpretation using the paper clips. That was pure genius. Love the flower choice too. Liked #2 equally well with all the colors & the pretty embellies...especially that scallop trim. TFS &Hugs
