If you tried out for the Team I bet you get it! [You need to get it - no one has a style such as your's - AMAZING] Totally loving both cards - my fav is the pop of color :) Those chevrons look fabulous too. I love getting your email posts :)

Dearest Petra - so good hearing from you, and yes, I now how busy you are! It’s heart-warming and very endearing to know that our friendship is growing, and is not dependent on whether or not we comment on each other’s blogs LOL But I DO so love seeing your amazingly unique style. I still do not know how you think up the creative symbolisms you think up, but it must be because of your caring heart and appreciation of texture and nature in everything you see and do. The series of "rounds and curves" in your first card is soooo indicative of live and love, and the simplicity of the chevrons pointing to the "spilling over of nature" in the 2nd card is striking! It's so amazing that you can attached the chevrons in such a straight line like that! (it's cute how we can appreciate different abilities in each person, isn't it?)

At least your plumbago is still blooming despite the cooler temps. I'm one of the lucky people in the US who does not contend with snow. It has snowed in our area twice since 1969. (see how old I am? LOL)

Please take care, and keep healthy! Hope the boys do well on their mid-terms, and that you can have a special school break, too. xo

Wat een prachtige kaart en wat mooi heb je die cirkel verwerkt op je eerste kaartje! Je tweede kaartje is ook zo mooi, zo eenvoudig maar dat maakt het juist zo prachtig! Je hebt zoveel talent! Lieve groetjes, Erna

Oh, these are wonderful! I especially love the second one -- fabulous take on the sketch!

These are both just beautiful. I especially like what you did with those white circles. I hope that I am learning a little Afrikaans by reading your blog and trying to guess what each sentiment says. I assume that you can get your sentiments from a S. African stamp company, or you have a lot of nice alphabet stamps.

You've wowed me again, young lady! Love the way you interpreted that Mojo sketch with the swirly cutout corner. And the second card is simplicity at its finest. Stellar work!

Wonderful cards Petra. I so love the circle elements on the first one. What a great take on the sketch. The orange/yellow flower is so pretty in the middle. The gold blings are the perfect embellishments. The chevron arrows look amazing on the second along with the little dots... the orange flower in the middle is perfect. Clean, simple with a touch of twist (as I like to say), and very elegant.

Two more beauties!!! I ADORE the polka dots and cool circles that you created with the Nestabilities! Nice pope of color in the vibrant yellow flower.

Your second card made say "Wow" out loud...at work! The movement that you have created with the wee dots flowing through the main elements then continuing down to the bottom right corner with the leaves and more dots is magnificent! The orange flower rocks! WINNER WINNER!!!!

I love the background paper on the first one, really makes those circles pop! Does the die cut out the perfect rings or do you have to align them?

Love the second card with the flow of the dots. Having the leafy branch flowing downward looks fabulous!
