CTS#133 and FMS#196

Hi everyone!!!!

Taking part in two challenges this afternoon!!!
First up is the sketch challenge over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog.
This is the sketch to play with:

and this is the card I've made:

Done my bg with paint splatters and a bg polka dot stamp from Glitz
Daisy die from MFT.
Finished it off with rhinestones and black plastic dots.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

I will be linking this card to my friend, Mynn Kitchen's Blog, too.  She is celebrating 5 years of blogging and has a give-away with some lovely prizes.  Hop over to her blog, On a Stampage and have a look.

It's been some time since I last joint in the fun over at the Freshly made Sketches Blog.
This is the sketch:

and the card I've made to link at the challenge:

Image stamp from Glitz.
Flower die from Couture Creations.  Flourish die from MFT.
Sentiment computer generated.
Added some inksplatters at the top and black plastic dots to complete the picture.

We had a lovely day today, but it's becoming very cold at the moment and they have forecasted some very heavy rain for us for tonight.  Hope we will be OK and not have floods!!!

Time to prepare supper here!!!  Not really in the mood for that!!!

Thank you so much for spending some time with me - hope you enjoyed your visit!!!!

Two beautiful cards Petra - both fulfilling the brief to the full. My favourite is the first one - CAS, colourful and stunning. Have a great weekend.

All right! You must be warmed up in your craft room. You are on a roll! :) Beautiful cards Petra. Love the scattered flowers in different colors on the first one. The paint splatters look wonderful. The little bird in the cage is so pretty. Very elegant with the creamy yellow, black and white. Awesome take on the sketch. Also love the 2 different hues on the flower. The flourishes are perfect.

Loved BOTH of these cards, but have to fess up that #1 might possibly be my fav. Bet it cheered you up if it's cold & rainy, because it just looks airy & springtime. It's just a delightful interpretation of the sketch & looks so fun. #2 was equally lovely, but with a more elegant feel. Again, you've aced the sketch challenge. Hope no problems ensue with the flooding. Wish I could send you along some of the hot summer sunshine I have just now to warm you up! TFS & have a great wkend

2 gorgeous cards, Petra. Love how you clustered your little flowers and dots around the sentiment on the first card, and the clean lines of your second card. Your bird cage is set off so well on the gold and black, and those splatters up top keep that white space from feeling too empty. Thanks so very much for all the comments you left me the other day. Gosh, I felt to special and it seems like you must have spent your entire day just looking at my blog and writing nice comments.

But thank you so much for the nice and sweet comments you've left in that time!! :)

Creativity lives here! Two more amazing card! Adore the simplicity of your first card and the whimsical splattered background!

Your second card boasts more yummy splatters and another really cool design with a fabulous image! Love how you divided the enamel dots on each side of the sentiment...3 on one side, 1 on the other...a very nice unpredictable and very effective change!
