Casology#170 & FMS#210

Hi everyone!!!!

Not much time left to join the two challenges I'm taking part in today!!!
First up is the Casology Challenge where the Cue word is 'Heart'.

This is the card I have made:

Heart die and sentiment stamps from Verve.
The black line is a piece of twine.
The red hearts are on foam tape.
Rounded it off with black plastic dots.

The next challenge I'm joining is the sketch challenge at the Freshly Made Sketches Blog.
This is the sketch:

and my card:

The small pieces of patterned paper are from KaiserCraft.
Flowers hand punched.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

I've made another card using the sketch at FMS, but I've taken it a bit too far to link it at the challenge!!!!
I had so much fun adding just more and more!!!!

Patterned paper from KaiserCraft.
Star and notebook Edge dies from MFT.
Leaves stamp from PTI.
Cuttlebug swiss dot EF.
Sentiment stamp from a local craft shop, Great Impressions.

That's it!!!  Thanks for visiting!!!!

Petra jou hartjie skepping het my hart gesteel! die afwisselende rooi en swart harte werk so goed! Lyk of die swart harte so uitloer agter the rooies! Perfekte sentiment!
'n Droom van n CAS skepping! Altyd lekker on jou by Casology te sien!
Jou FMS kaartjie is ook net so besonders... net jy kan n idee vars hou met so 'n verskeidenheid elemente!
Mooi week verder!

Love seeing these 3 using the same basic layout, but it shows how you can make them so different! Love the graphic simplicity (of course!) of the CASology card, but the others are also beautiful! So glad you joined us at CASology this week, Petra!

Hoi Petra,
Lieve groetjes,
GerJanne

Think you've almost outdone yourself with this trio! #1's design is amazingly simple, yet striking with the color and arrangement of the motif. On #2 the graphic frames are so pretty, and love the way you've split the frame to shadow the focal square. Brilliant idea to enhance the look. And #3, another splendid design with the graphic embossed shapes, the golden star layers atop the graphics (with more shadowing and tiny stars). Tucking the green foliage and black thread added more texture and interest too. Love the dots embossing against the 'wooden' background. Then more design with the green trim over the kraft, topped off the with the black pearls. A really fabulous look. Hard to pick a fav from this trio, Miss Petra! WOW! TFS & Hgus

Pretty cards, Petra. I love, love, love that heart card; so CAS and so sweet. Both of your cards done with the FMS are wonderful. Love the bold colors and design of the first one, and the elegance of the second one. You've really outdone yourself with these beauties. They are just fantastic!! Bev

Hearts, squares and flowers, leaves and stars...oh my! You've covered my spectrum of images I adore in your trio, each one utterly gorgeous and innovative! The CAS of the first two is striking; the layers of the third, eye-catching! Winners all, my friend!

Super cute cards Petra. Love the sweet little hearts on the string on the first one... lovely placements... the layers are amazing on the other cards... especially on the last card. Love the stars and the border on the bottom with the candy dots (or are they rhinestones?). In any case... fantastic designs all in all!

Love those hearts! Such a beautiful backdrop for your cards. Where do you live?

I love these, Petra! The heart design is gorgeous - I love the simplicity of this one. I like your frame design on the second card. The added flowers and pattered paper are so cleverly placed. I think my favourite is the final card - so many gorgeous layers and die cuts, yet the sketch can still be seen. I love it! The background in your photographs is beautiful - what a view you have!

Wow, you have been busy Petra with these three beautiful cards. I love the black and white hearts and then the FMS sketch which you have interpreted so wonderfully with your brightly coloured square frames and pretty flowers and the third with lots going on like a pretty collage with the stars and leaves in those prettu muted tones. Hope you had an enjoyable weekend. x

Wow, you have been busy, and I have been delinquint in my visits. Love your three different takes on the same sketch--and how they get more elaborate and less CAS as you go. This would really be a fun lesson in design. I love them all!
