FMS#225

Hi everyone!!!

I've been very busy with sewing, knitting and crocheting all of last week so I haven't been around in Blogland, but I wanted to make a card for the current sketch challenge over at the Freshly Made Sketches Blog.

This is the card I've made:

Butterfly die and EF from Cuttlebug.
Leaves stamp from PTI.
Star die from MFT.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

I'll be putting my needles, hooks and sewing machine a bit to the side this week, so I will be popping in at your blogs shortly!!!!

Have a great start to your week!!!

Lovely card Petra. That butterfly is beautiful with the silver rhinestones. The thing rectangle frame looks perfect... another great take on a sketch... I like that you made it really nice and interesting with slanting the rectangle panel.

STUNNING!!! So elegant and so pretty. The butterfly is gorgeous! Love how the black frame works to accent/highlight the pretty winged critter!

We are off tomorrow morning so will be MIA for a bit...unless we find some free time and some free Wi-Fi!

Perfect take on the FMS sketch. Your focal point is filled with so many sweet elements, and yet it retains a more CAS feel to it. Love the choice of chevrons on your side panel. Delightful card, and I always love to stop by and see what you've created. Bev

Petra, thank you so much for your kind comments left on my blog. I'm so sorry that I don't have the time to visit you back as often as I would love to. Today, a journey through your blog was such a delightful experience. Thank you! You have this magical eye for layering - not a easy thing to do at all! You are so talented as well!
