Addicted to CAS, CFC168 and Happy Little Stampers Watercolour

Hi, everyone!!!!!

When I saw the Doodling challenge at Addicted to CAS I knew I wanted to try my hand at doodling and see if I can create something to link at the challenge!!!!!!  So I had some fun this morning and made a card that I will link at two more challenges, too!!!!  At the CAS-UAL Fridays Challenge Blog you have to make a OL and at Happy Little Stampers I will link at the Watercolour Challenge.

  This is my card:

I doodled some daisies and watercoloured it using my watercolour pencils and water.  I've coloured the inside of the frame with a very soft blue, going somewhat over the lines of the frame for a playful feel, but it doesn't really show in the photo, it's too soft.
Tried to do the lettering in a very loose style to go with the style of the daisies.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.
I really enjoyed making this card!!!!

The card below was actually my first try at doodling and the one above my second try, but I'm not linking this one at any challenges.

I'm so happy with my new watercolour pencils!!!!  I've tried my hand at watercolouring with watercolour paints, but I haven't had much success with it so I thought I should give the watercolour pencils a try as I love to colour with pencils!!!!  It's so easy to do the colouring and then add the water for the watercoloured look!!!!!  I'm going to have lots of fun playing with these pencils!!!!!

Thanks for visiting!!!!  Lovely having you here!!!!

Wish I could 'doodle' this well. I didn't realize your flowers were doodled until I read your post. Your coloring is fab, naturally, and I'm loving your skill at 'doodling'. Each one is so pretty. Also thought #1 was just perfect, and #2 equally so. Love the cheery colors too! The framework brought the flowers to life so nicely. TFS & have a great week.

Petra, these are amazing!!!! I'm completely blown away. Your "doodling" is fantastic and your lettering is incredible! Wow. You should definitely do this more often! So glad you love your watercolor pencils. I am still trying to find the right watercoloring medium for me. This might be an avenue that I need to explore.

Marveling at your doodled water-coloured flowers that are, indeed, one layer wonders! Adding my voice to the others: your artistic flair is incredible! If you designed stamps with these images, they'd be coming to my collection for sure! I think your first, with the flowers-and-frame as one image would be a hit in the crafting community, as would your sentiments! Perhaps something to think about...Petra's Passions Stamps *grin*

I'd bet you're the only one who actually doodled the entire card, Petra. Bravo to you. Your daisies are darling and I love the frame you created for them. I also love your other card and your handwriting is amazing. I'm with Carol. Stamps designs for sure. I'm so glad you shared your card with us at Addicted to CAS.

Another set of fabulous cards, Petra. I love the framing of the first - it really makes the daisies pop and the little touch of yellow is perfect. Wonderful take on the challenge and, I always enjoy your backdrops - the scenery is wonderful and takes my mind back to some wonderful holidays on the Garden Route.
Thanks for joining us at Addicted to CAS this week

Wow, that is some doodling. I cannot believe that you were able to do that free hand. You definitely should stop buying stamps! You can just doodle. Two beautiful cards.

You are so talented, Petra! I love how you chose to draw your own daisies, and your doodled frame is fabulous! I love how you doodled your sentiment on the first card, too! Your doodled roses and leaves are also really charming! I think you have found a great idea for watercoloring with pencils...both cards are so pretty!
Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at Addicted to CAS! We always enjoy seeing your creations in the gallery!!!
