Here to post my card for the current sketch over at the Retrosketches Blog.
Here's my card:
The small pieces of patterned papers are from the 'Engraver' collection by Prima. The arrow stamp is from the 'Borderline' set by Verve. My sentiment is in Afrikaans and says 'Congratulations'.
The cogs were cut with dies from a 'X-cut' set by docrafts. I heat-embosses the cogs with clear embossing powder and then put little bits of embossing paste on it and heat-embossed with gold embossing powder. A button with a twine bow and black rhinestones complete the card.

Petra - I discovered your blog via a friend who passed on the link to the juvenile fiscal shrike on your card :-) So glad she did. I love your treatment of the cogs and this is a great take on the sketch. Thanks for bringing back such wonderful memories with your background shots. Petra, this is a marvelous take on that design. I love the graphic layout, and the crisp white at the upper portion. The script paper & your 'metal cogs' are stunning with this. Love the added tiny black bits too. TFS & Hugs
