RS#106

Hi everyone.

Can't believe it's Thursday already!!  We have a public holiday, Human Right's Day, tomorrow, so it's a lovely long weekend here!!  I've made my card for the Retrosketches#106 challenge this morning.

This is what it looks like:

I've used a piece of dp by Simple Stories, from the 24/SEVEN collection.
The leaf stamp is by Verve from the 'Bloom & Grow' set.  The sentiment is in Afrikaans and says 'Congratulations'.
The 'Hybrid Winter Rose' die is form the Die-namics range by MFT.
The border punch is from Upikit.
Added a twine bow and three black rhinestones to finish it off.

This is the sketch:

Hop on over to the Retrosketches Blog to have a look at all the lovely entries!

That's it for now!  Have a super day!!  Thanks for popping in!!

Kind regards
Petra

I am so liking these striking bold graphic papers that you combine so well, to create the gorgeous backgrounds for your focal piece. This is a really pretty rose, and don't think I've seen that MFT die. Such a wonderful card! TFS & Hugs

Love it! Is that a piece of cork or is it DP...whichever it is, it's awesome! Beautiful elements perfectly melded together! I love how you lined up the sentiment with the pretty scalloped edge strip!

"Hybrid Winter Rose" has just been added to my wishlist!

Your layouts for these sketch challenges are always magnificent, Petra! I tried doing that elegant ropey technique like you have here and it was laughable!! That's okay, that's why card art is so amazing with all our different styles and why we admire those differences. I hope you're have a great week! Thank you for your visits and sweet comments!! Hugs, Darnell

So pragtig Petra! Perfekte rangskikking van al die elemente en die wit blom is 'n treffend fokuspunt.
