DS#146

Hi everyone.

Joining in the fun this time on Jen Shultz's Blog with the Deconstructed sketch challenge #146.
Jen has really got some lovely sketches and I really like this one.

This is the card I have created:

The die I have used for the flowers is the 'Prima Donna Petals' by MFT.  The dps are bits and pieces I had on my table and of cause nowadays I can't make a card without using vellum!!  The Afrikaans sentiment says 'Just for You'.  Added a twine bow, some pears and black rhinestones and it was done.

This is Jen's sketch:

Seems as we are going to have another very hot day here in George!!  This whole week was terribly hot - hopefully it will cool down shortly.

Hope that your weekend is lovely so far and that you are having a great Sunday!!

Thanks for popping in!
Kind regards
Petra

Excellent job with the sketch!! I love this card. AND, once again I completely LOVE LOVE LOVE the outside photographing -- beautiful out of focus background that doesn't take away from your card at all!

You have such a talent for beautiful layering whilst keeping everything crisp and clean, Petra ... this is lovely! The vellum softens it beautifully! Hope you're keeping cool! Anita :)

Petra...your talent truly is endless! Another jaw dropping creation! Your sense of design is amazing...the sproinky twine bow and the little peak of a black banner 'kitty-corner' from the two semi-circles create a beautifully balanced design!

Love the bold design of the background paper, and the smaller stamped image rectangle was so very pretty added atop the graphic look. Those flowers are beautiful, and this is a great layout to show off those lovely flowers. Liked the banners trims and the skinny bow behind the flowers. Simply just a lovely card, as you always do. Happy Easter and TFS ...hugs

Hey Petra! It is actually my Blogger that is misbehaving! Posts from blogs that I follow are not showing up in my mailbox and comments are disappearing!
It is so frustrating trying to figure out what is wrong...especially when I am so NOT a techie (just ask my kids!)

Love the vellum on this card too Petra and of course your backdrop for your cards is absolutely stunning! What a fabulous view you must have. Please take a pic focussing on the background so that we can see what you are seeing... lol That would be awesome for a next post. Happy Mother's Day for Sunday. Warm wishes, Sharon x
