Hi again, everyone!!
My second card for the current challenge over at the Retrosketches Blog. Choose a sketch from the past to work with - great fun!!!
I just love the hexagons in this sketch and choose it for my second card:
This is my card:
I love Teresa Collins's dp and have again used paper from the 'Summer Stories' range by her.
Daisy stamp from Verve. Leaves stamp and die from PTI. Borderpunch from American Crafts.
Done some sewing again and added the black plastic dots to complete it.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Just for You.'
So that's it for my cards for the current Retrosketches challenge. Thanks for visiting and have a lovely day!!!
Till next time!!
Keep well!!
Kind regards
Petra

Love your cards Petra. The hexagons are lovely, maybe will take some inaspiration from these. Enjoy the week, hugs, Ursula
Petra, I was so happy to "meet" you after you left such a sweet comment on my blog! LOVE your take on the retro sketch...it certainly is a great one and I'll be using it again and again! I always love white embossed flowers and yours look great against the hexagon background! Have a great day!
Amazing! Two in a row. It doesn't get much better than this. Love this card as well. Just beautiful. - Jim
The sketch you chose is so YOU! Perfect for your fabulous trademark layering!
you really know how to rock a sketch, petra... this card is another stunning example!
WOW...what a BEAUTY this is, Petra!
So many lovely layers.
You sure made that sketch shine!
Whoa! GORGEOUS, Petra! I love how you are able to combine the Abstract with Realistic elements to create WOW type artwork. So today's photo also shows your flower - we have something similar here in Florida called Blue Plumbago. http://www.plantanswers.com/plumbago_best.htm
Is it the same thing? The butterflies love it. During the winter, it freezes back to the ground, and then rapidly grows and blooms all summer until the next freeze. Happy Week-end, Petra! hugs, de
So very pretty Petra! The hexagons look awesome and I love the pretty blossom! Hope you have a great weekend!
Yummy, Petra ... more lovely layers! The neutral palette here looks fabulous with those pops of stronger colour! Stunning card! Anita :)
So pretty Petra. Love the heat embossed flower with those hexagons. The stitched pieces look great.
Yet another wonderfully beautiful card. Love the colors & the pop of the hot golden splash at the side. The way you've combined the flowers, the decorative edges and the added stitching, turned this into a most spectacular card, once again you worked your magic with all the combined elements. TFS & hugs.
So stunning! Love the colors and layered elements! Great card!
