Mojo Monday #367

Hi everyone!!

Monday means a new sketch over at the Mojo Monday Blog.  Julee has a lovely sketch for us to work with:

Here is the card I have made:

I've used dp from the 'Summer Stories' range by Teresa Collins.
The flourish die is from MFT.
Scroll stamp and die from Verve.
Rhinestones finish it off.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Just for You'.

Before I go, I want to share with you the Barbie cake I've made for a little girl who had her birthday last week.  This is the very first time I have done anything of the sort and I have not worked with plastic icing before.  I think it turned out quite nicely.

Thanks for popping in and have a lovely week!!!

Keep well!!
Kind regards
Petra

Petra jou kaartjie is soos n vars briesie en die barbie koek is so kreatief. Eks seker sy het baie van haar poppie koek gehou. Lekker week daar.

A really pretty card Petra......but your cake blew me away.....it's absolutely amazing! I've never heard of plastic icing before and I'm presuming it's not edible but I am sure the little girl just wanted to sit and look at it!!!

Hugs.

Such a pretty card Petra. Love the designer paper and how you did the strips. The leaf swirl looks wonderful with the sheer ribbon. Oh, my... that cake topper is fantastic. This is one of those times I wish I had a girl. :)
