FMS#177

Hi everyone!!!

Nearly bedtime here, but I want to post my card for the current sketch challenge over at the Freshly Made Sketches Blog before I'm off to bed .
This is the sketch by Karren for the week:

and this is what my card looks like:

Used a piece of patterned paper from my stash.
Sentiment stamp and die from Verve.
Flourish die from MFT.
Some drywall tape, a doily and black plastic dots complete the card.

Thanks so much for popping in - always a pleasure to have you here!!!
Till next time!!!

You've reminded me that I still haven't picked up any drywall tape. Love the texture that it adds! How clever to weave the sentiment banner in and out of the large "U" die! Gorgeous card! Have a great day (or should I say night?). :-)

So beautiful Petra, as always! I love it. Such a creative take on the sketch! Loe that flourish and how the sentiment goes through the "U". Love the doily tucked in there too! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

Love your take on this sketch. The use of the U as you've done it for the sentiment is such a fun look. Also love the split shape design and the drywall tape for texture. You've got feminine touches, texture, bolds & graphic elements... and this is a real stunner! TFS & Hugs.

Love the tilted panel Petra. Gives an interesting touch to your pretty card. That big U is on my wish list for ages.... looks great with the greeting banner. The doily and the vine die-cut look amazing. :)

This beauty nearly escaped me...wonder why I never got this post?

So glad that I scrolled down because this is another stunner! Creativity lives in this card...the angled panel, the bold "U" and best of all - the way that you threaded the sentiment banner THROUGH the letter! Sweet, sweet card!
