RS#155 and FMS#176

Hi everyone!!!!

Posting two cards this morning!!!
First up is the sketch challenge at the Freshly made Sketches Blog.
This is Cindy's sketch for the week:

I turned the sketch on it's side and made this card:

The pieces of patterned paper are form Teresa Collins.
Flower stamp from a local craft shop, Great Impressions.  Leaves stamp and die from PTI.
Swiss dot EF from Cuttlebug.  Borderpunch from American Crafts.
Used some twine, washi tape, dry wall tape, sequins and black plastic dots to finish it off.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

Next up is the sketch at the Retro Sketches Blog.
This is the sketch:

and my card:

The piece of patterned paper is from echo park paper co.
Flower and leaf stamps from a local craft shop, Great Impressions.
Sentiment stamp from Verve.
Flourish die from MFT.
Some twine, washi tape, a sequin and two plastic dots complete the card.

That's it from me for today!!!  Have a lovely day!!!
Till next time!!!

These are both AMAZING, Petra!!! I LOVE the beautiful layering and texture on the first, and I adore the fun use of string and embossing on the second! Perfect, friend! HUGS! :) Mynn xx

They are both lovely, Petra! I was wondering what you would do with the first sketch because you usually make the same size card - and you have knocked it out of the park! It looks amazing - especially "on tilt" like that! hugs, de

I'm in total agreement with Erna...you are soooooo talented! I'm guessing that you also have your home beautifully & tastefully decorated.

Two stunning creations! It's your attention to detail (always perfectly placed) that make your cards stand out in the crowd.

Love the wee bits of printed tape/paper and my fav - the sproinky twine bows! Gorgeous color combos and once again, fabulous photos!

I'll have echo all the other comments. Especially like the asymmetrical look on #1 with that very feminine scallop border & the embossed dot trim. Very pretty with the polka dot and stripes and those happy flowers. Lots of color & texture & pretty on #2 as well. Oh Miss Queen of the Sketches!!! TFS & Hugs
