Restoring a deleted post

Hi everyone!!!

I have accidentally deleted this post and I do not want to lose it, so I am just posting it again.  (I was lucky enough to still have a draft of the post!!!)   The original post was done on 22 August 2015.
Have a wonderful Friday!!!

I've got three cards to post this evening!!!
The new sketch up at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog is a lovely one!!!

This is my card:

The flowers aren't sitting on the card - I've punched the paper and the black is underneath the negative space.
Patterned paper from Teresa Collins.
Flower punch from docrafts.
A twine bow and rhinestones finish it off.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.
The top left hand corner looks as if it's not neat, but that's because of the foam tape and the angle at which I photographed the card.

Hubby and my eldest son went on a fishing outing this morning and I used the opportunity to photograph my card next to the river where they were getting prawns to use as bait.

I made another card using the sketch and the very same idea, just with some patterned paper form KaiserCraft this time.
These photo's were taken this afternoon when I went to collect them at the place where they were fishing.

And then I've got a third card to link at the 200th sketch challenge over at the Freshly Made Sketches Blog!!!
This will be my last entry for a chance to win one of several wonderful prizes!!!

The piece of patterned paper is from Marion Smith.
Flower die from MFT.  Leaves stamp and die from PTI.
Added a piece of washi tape and sequins and black plastic dots and it was done!!!
Computer generated, Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

Apologies for the photo heavy post!!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit - your visits and comments are always appreciated so much!!!

Could your homeland be any more beautiful? That would not be possible. No one can outdo Mother Nature. Gorgeous scenery and handsome guys! Your cards are wonderful. I especially like the slanted panel with circles and the black showing under! XO

These are all wonderful cards. I hope you win one of those fantastic prizes. Never apologize for all the photos in a post. I just love seeing all your photos--a bit of arm chair travel for me, as I've never been to your part of the world.

All three are lovely but the first one is exquisite. Well done. Hope the fisherman caught something decent!!! My man is also a keen fisherman but have to be honest and say that he seldom brings anything home for the braai!

Top gedaan! Lieve groetjes Erna

Photo heavy? Are you kidding? I would have loved to look at more and more! Do you live close to 'a big body of water'...as in the waves? I see beautiful mountains in the backdrops of your photos and now waves. Mountains on one side, water on the other?

Thanks so much for sharing a part of your world with us :)

Now, the cards! Absolutely stunning! I tanked 3 attempts for the curren CAS(E) sketch...and you nailed it - TWICE!!! Beautifully clean & simple, with a nice light graphic feel and a bit of softness with the pretty negative image flowers. Love the sparkle circles, love the bling, LOVE the alphabet panel and the colors on the third card! Love the pics!

BTW - prawns for bait? Yikes, we pay a kazillion dollars a pound here for frozen ones to eat!

Hi Petra,
Lieve groetjes,
GerJanne

Lovely cards Petra as usual. Amazing takes on both sketches. Love the silver circles on the first car. So retro. The second version is very pretty too... love the gems. Pretty yellow flower on the last one... the paper is amazing with the different prints. Great photos of the fishermen!

Three wonderful cards Petra and all fantastic interpretations of the two sketch challenges. I love the glittery circles and the pretty punched Docraft flowers with the twine bow and then the spotted pink with the same colour underneath the punched flowers as on the last card which contrasts so prettily, and then the last with the very stylish number and alphabet background and the very pretty die cut flower and leaves with some great contrasting colours again. I love your photos and it looks really beautiful where you live and a wonderful backdrop for your cards. x

Gorgeous as always. I especially love the card with the sparkly circles and the flowers. But all of these are terrific!

How do you manage to make so many beautiful creations? You've got such a genius mind! I just love that first card with the sweet little flowers and their pearly cores. And good gracious, what a perfect way to photograph cards - out in the beautiful daylight!

What an absolutely wonderful backdrop for your gorgeous cards!! I am certain that one day I am going to end up at your doorstep ready for you to me on a tour of your lovely country.. Just spectacular views... And lets talk about how (again) wonderful your cards are!! Just magnificent!! The first card is probably my favorite with all the glittery circles and your signature color black is shown with the beautiful sweet flowers. Your second card is just as sweet as the first not as graphic but still just as effective.. I will say it again the way you black is brilliant. Seriously! Your third card is a departure from the norm I think.. But wow you are a woman of many talents my friend!! The card is just delightful with letters and the lovely flower and you really make black look so good.. Hugely talented and I am so glad to know you and see your wonderful work.. Thank you Petra.. We will see you soon..
