FMS#228

Hi everyone!!!

Allready bedtime here, but I want to link a card that I've made for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge, before I go to sleep!!!!  This is the sketch:

and the card I've made, turning the sketch upside down:

The piece of patterned paper is from Marion Smith.
Border stamp from Altenew.
Leaves stamp and die from PTI.
A piece of silver twine on the left.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

I'm off to bed!!!!  Thanks for spending some time with me!!!

A style that is uniquely your own, with the fabulous graphic shapes and pretty layers of flowers & elements. I like the way you've turned the sketch, and also the pattern dp circle that you tucked in behind the neutral color shapes...ditto the border treatments. A striking card! TFS & Have a wonderful week

A wonderful take on the sketch Petra! I love how you've used the trio of circles and embellished it with the floral and leafy images.

So pretty, Petra! I've been missing in blogland, and have a few minutes today to catch up; seeing this beauty, I'm really glad I did! Love the soft colors, and all that wonderful white space. Great idea to flip the sketch, too. Great card. Bev

Fabulous as ever Petra dear friend!! I love how you always 'think outside the box' . . . you have an amazingly creative mind!! I love that you turned the sketch on it's head, the silver thread running down the left hand side, the little border strip on the right!! All your lovely layers and the fact that I each time I look at it I still see something different each time, and yet it still remains perfectly CAS!!! Another sure winner I feel! Have a very lovely week my friend! Hazel xx

When I first saw this sketch on FMS all I could think of was a sun.. you know the ones you drew when you were a kid. I never would have never thought of this beauty. The angled 'newsprint' is probably my favorite detail of this masterpiece. Using two circles and switching the corners again, genius my friend. Love it
