CTS#181

Hi everyone!!!

Made a card last night to link at the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge!!!!  The sketch:

 and my card:

Used my Tim Holtz chevron die to cut a stencil.
Sentiment stamp from a local craft shop, Great Impressions.
Added some dots with a white gel pen.

I made another card, using a different sentiment:

Sentiment stamp from PTI.

The sponging I've done with Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade DIs.   I've seen a card by the talented Loll Thompson, on her blog, Stamping with Loll, where she had used these two colours together and I loved it!!!  So credit for the colours I have worked with, goes to Loll - thanks Loll!!!

That's it for now!!!  Thanks for popping in - your visits and  comments are appreciated so much!!!

Simply stunning and stunningly simple Petra dear friend! Have a wonderful day! I'm off to meet up with the lovely Darnell Knauss today ... I'm really excited, I've never met one of my 'blogging buddies IRL before'. I'd be over the moon to meet you (perhaps one day eh?) Hazel xx

Hoi Petra,
Wat heb je een weer een supermooi kaart gemaakt. Vellum geeft altijd een mooi effect op een kaart.
De teksten in zwart vallen mooi op, en het is een heel goed gebruik van de sketch.
Groetjes,
GerJanne

Often times the simplest sketches can be the most difficult, Petra - I LOve how you've created your own stencil, and took your cue from a blogging friend for color combinations ... Loll will love that, too. Awesome cards! Thanks for playing cards with CTS this week! xx

You are right about the colour combination Petra, so fiery and hot and the white chevrons stand out beautifully and I love the large sentiments and the way you have stapled the vellum to the card. x

This is one of the prettiest cards I've seen using this chevron die. Loved the colors (Loll is a terrific inspiration!) and liked the extra dots decorating the patterns. Looks wonderful with the vellum overlay sentiments, and while I like both, my fav must be #2 - as I love calligraphy fonts. TFS & Hugs.

Petra, I love the stenciled layers. That is a really cool stencil! The sentiments on velum look fabulous!!! I stamped on vellum yesterday and loved how it looked but it didn't work with my project so I need to search for a new project!!! :)
