CTS#183

Hi everyone!!!!

There's a great sketch up at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog and I made a card to link at the challenge, last night!!!   The sketch:

This is the card I've made:

Both the snowman and sentiment stamps are part of stamp sets that were magazine freebies a few year ago!!!!
Notebook edge die from MFT.
Got a thread nest behind the snowman.

Thank you so much for the visit - hope to see you again, soon!!!!!

Hi Petra!

Oh dear Petra, (why am I saying oh dear?), because I have just this minute finished making my second card for this sketch and, guess what, I have done the same as you with the hand embossed stripes running across the card to represent the stripes of the sketch! Great minds think alike eh? Of course, yours is far more inspiring than mine! I adore that little snowman and the silver thread behind him! A very, sure winner! I don't think I will put mine up now, because, (1) I have now seen the winner ... and (2) It will just look like I have tried to copy! Have a wonderful weekend sweet friend! Hazel xx

Another clever and unique take on the sketch! The scored lines look wonderful but don't detract from that adorable snowman.

Hou baie hiervan.
Groete uit 'n koue Pretoria,

Loving the scored lines - so subtle and yet soooooo effective in grounding the image! I really like how you focused the 'color' on the snowman!

That cute snowman fits the sketch perfectly Petra, and I love the embossed line and the threads and sequins, and the notebook edge gives it a nice border. x
