CTS#250

Hi, everyone!!!!!

Remember me?????  If you don't, I'll understand!!!!!  Oh, boy, ...haven't been posting for months!!!!  A lot has happened in my life since April when I posted the last time and I had a complete loss of mojo and have not made any cards since that time!!!!!  An e-mail from a very dear Blogland friend yesterday, inspired me to open my cupboads with all my cardmaking stuff and sit down to make a card for one of my favorite challenges, last night!!!!  (You're such a darling Michele - thanks!!!!)

The sketch I used is the one up at the CAS(E) this sketch Blog.

...and this is my card:

Used my Kaleidacolor inkpad and water to get the watercoloured effect.
Butterfly stamp from PTI.
The 'happy' die I used, was a gift from a sweet friend!!!!!  (Thanks again, Lindsey!!!) I don't know which company its from.  I cut it from gold mirror card.  The 'Birthday' part of the sentiment was computer generated.

So that will be it, for now!!!!  Thank you so much for the visit!!!!

Well how lovely to see you back Petra, we have missed you here in blogland and these butterflies are such a pretty way to make a return, and love the gold dimensional 'happy' with the white on black strip for the 'birthday'. I hope your mojo is back to stay now. x

Hi Petra, lovely to have a visit & sweet comment from you. Believe me I understand about MIA and Mojo Loss. Doesn't look to me as though you lost your magic touch, though, while you were away. MoJo is here on this lovely card. I love how you've used the kaleidecolor inks as watercolors, and the design is just beautiful. Also like the extra dimension of the sentiment as you've done on this lovely card. TFS & Hugs

So thrilled to see a card and even happier to hear from you! I’ve thought of you often. I wish I had taken Michele’s initiative to email...why didn’t I think of that?! It seems that time certainly has not filled your skills. This is beautiful! (And the die is from PTI...I think it was an anniversary set.) I’m not sure all you’ve experienced this year, but I’ve missed you and sincerely hope this new year brings you much more joy!
