VLVJul2013 Week 2

Hi everyone.

My card for week 2 of the VivaLaVerve challenge over at SCS.

This week's sketch is by Charmaine and looks like this:

For my card I've used papers from the 'stationary noted' range by Teresa Collins.  The sentiment stamp is from Ladybug Crafts and the leaf stamp is form the 'Bloom & Grow' set by Verve.  The leaf die is from the 'A CUT above Dies' range by Verve.  The flower dies are the 'Winter Rose' set from the Die-namics range by MFT.
Done some sewing around the edges to round off the card.

That's week 2's card.  Will be back tomorrow with some more cards for VLVJul2013.

VLVJul2013 Week 1

Hi everyone.

It's end of July and there's 5 sketches for the month over on SCS and the VivaLaVerve challenge.  Here is my card for week 1:

 

 

 

This is the sketch by Amber:

For my card I have used papers from the 'stationary noted' series by Teresa Collins.  The sentiment stamp is from the Plain Jane series by Verve (VS-10PJ034).  The flower is from the Joyful Blooms set, also by Verve.  The Fancy flourish die is from the Die-namics series by MFT. 
Done some sewing around the edges and added some black pearls to finish off my card.

Monday again!

Hi everyone.

Hope you had a lovely weekend and that you are ready for the new week!  Can't believe it's the last week of July already!  Monday means a new sketch over at the Mojo Monday blog and this week it's a lovely sketch by Carole.  Here's the sketch:

I have (again!) made a card using papers from the lovely Rondelle collection by Prima Marketing.  Here's my card:



The stamps I've used are from Verve's 'Borderline' and 'You and I' sets.  I love to use the lovely 'U' on my cards.  It's from the 'A CUT above Dies' range by Verve.  The flower die is the 'Winter Rose' and the flourish the 'Leaf-filled flourish' from the Die-namics range by MFT.

Masculine card for U

Hi everyone.

I've had some time to play along in the Mojo Monday challenge for the week.  Julee has, as always, given us a lovely sketch to work with.  I just love Julee's sketches!  Here's the sketch:

I've made a masculine card following the sketch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The dps I've used are from the Engraver Collection by Prima. 

Lots of goodies from Verve used:  Pennant Trim from the A CUT above Dies series, sentiment from the 'You and I' set with the coordinating 'U' die,  Leaf stamp from the 'Bloom&Grow' set and the coordinating leaf die and the daisy stamp (VS-09-PJ016).

A white twine bow rounds it off.

 

I always hesitate to put flowers on a masculine card, but I think it works here.  I really like how this card turned out and I hope you like it too!

Last Mojo!

Hi there.

A very quick post for my 3rd Mojo Monday card to go into the lucky draw for some lovely prizes.  It's past my bedtime already!

Here's the sketch by Julee:

and my card:

Stamps by Verve and Kaisercraft.  Flower by Prima and dps also by Prima.  Added some dry wall tape and white cord and done some sewing around the edges.

Off to bed I am - in 15 minutes' time it will be Monday morning!!

Some more Mojo!

Hi there!

Great fun over at the Mojo Monday blog with their 300th sketch!!  Lots of prizes to be won!  Hop on over to the MojoMonday blog and check it out!

I've used dps from the lovely Rondelle collection Prima.  The sentiment and border stamps are from the Borderline set by Verve and the leaf stamp is from the Bloom & Grow set.  The leaf die is from the A CUT above range by Verve.  The lovely flower is the Winter rose from the Die-namics range by MFT.  Added a pearl to the rose and my card was completed.

 

This is such a lovely sketch to work with I think I will use it often in future.  ...but then again ALL Julee's sketches are just great to work with, hey!

Mojo Monday 300!

Hi there!

Yes, Verve is celebrating their 300th Mojo Monday sketch with a lot of prizes to be won!!  I just had to join in the fun and make a card for the week.

The dsp I've used is by Teresa Collins and the sentiment and flower stamp by Verve.  The leafy flourish is from the Die-namics range by MFT.  Added a button and cord and done some sewing around the edges.  That's it!  Hope you like it!
