Hi everyone!!!!!



A lovely new sketch up at the Freshly Made Sketches Blog!!!!

 

My card:

I will also be entering my card at Darnell's NBUS Challenge #8.  Darnell is asking us to use the technique of colouring on kraft and that is indeed a new technique for me.  I have coloured my flowers with pencils, but you can actually hardly see that I have coloured it!!!!  I have used white, a soft coral colour and a deeper pinkish pencil to colour the flowers.  I don't own any fancy colouring pencils, just the old fashioned ones we used at school ages ago, so that's most probably why the colouring doesn't show nicely - IRL it does look better than on the screen.   The bottom part of the sentiment is NBUS.

Finished my card off with black plastic dots.

A One-layer with some watercolouring, some masking and 2nd generation stamping and some heat-embossing.

I started playing with the current sketch by Michele, over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog, on Friday already and only had time to finish it this afternoon!!!!  This is the sketch:

Hi everyone!!!!


Nearly one o'clock in the morning, but before I'm off to bed I want to share a card I've made for the current sketch up at the Freshly Made Sketches Blog!!!!!!  This is the lovely sketch by Linda:

 

I've flipped the sketch on it's side and made a landscape card.

 

I absolutely LOVE these flowers from CAS-UAL FRIDAYS Stamps!!!!  Coloured it with my GraphIt pens.

The flowers that aren't coloured were stamped on the card front using grey ink.  The smaller, coloured flowers were stamped in black, die cut and adhered to the card front.  The bigger flower is on foam tape, as is the sentiment strip. 

Piece of silver mirror card and a blue glitter paper strip at the bottom.

Some rhinestones to add sparkle.

I can hear my bed calling loud and clear!!!!!

No cards for months and now two cards on one day!!!!!  Yep, I've made another CAS(E) this Sketch card!!!  Very much the same idea as my first card, using the same flower stamps from Altenew.

CTS#202

 Hi everyone!!!

Oh, boy, I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth, I've just lost my mojo for cards and blogging and enjoyed the lovely summer weather we've had over the last few months!!!!  I hope that you all had a fantastic festive season and that the new year is treating you well!!!  I wish you all a great 2017!!!!

I had a craft stall at a local church, during December and I'm happy to say that I'm quite pleased with how it went!!!!!  I didn't sell as much as I hoped for, but apparently everyone's sales were less than previous years, so I'm happy with my sales!!!!  I've sold quite a lot of cards and that makes me very happy!!!!  I think I will do it again this year!!!!

And then I want to apologize to all my friends for not commenting on cards for such a long time!!!!  I follow so many blogs at this stage that it is really becoming a great thing to keep up with commenting!!!!!  When it happens that I miss a day or two it is already such a big thing to get to everybody, that I often just not have the time to catch up and very soon it is just impossible to get to everyone without having to spend hours and hours at the computer!!!!  I really hope to work out a way to keep up to date with commenting and not falling behind so often this year - maybe that's a good new year's resolution, hey!!!!  Some friends also had their birthdays some weeks ago and I will be having something in the mail for you shortly!!!!


I had a look at the current sketch at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog last night and I decided that it's about time that I make a card and take part in a challenge again!!!!!  This is the sketch:

and my card:

Stamped some Altenew flowers in black on the card base.  The dark panel is grey and I sponged it with Brilliance Dew Drop, Moonlight White, ink which I also used for the stamping.  Added a silver glitter panel for some sparkle.

OK, I'll be off - my son is leaving on an action cricket weekend, this afternoon and I have to get his stuff ready!!!
