Mojo Monday #401

Quick post again for today!!!!

This time joining in the fun over at the Mojo Monday  Blog where Julee has a great sketch for this week!!

This is my card:

Played with Worn Lipstick and Broken China DI's.
Daisy stamp and charming banner dies from Verve.
Chevron stamp from the Borderline stamp set from Verve.
Flourish die from MFT.
Added some sparkle with sequins and rounded it off with black plastic dots.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

CTS#126 and FMS#189

Hi everyone on a very chilli Monday morning!!!



I had some fun in my craft room yesterday and I've got two cards to share!!
First up is my take on the sketch over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog.

...and some of you have seen this happening before!!   This little guy is a Fiscal Shrike.
 Never a dull moment when you photograph your cards outside!!!

 



             I've also made a card for the Feshly made Sketches  Challenge:

 

 

                   My card:

           For both of these cards I've played with Scattered Straw and Bundled Sage DI's.
           I've done some splattering with black watercolour paint.
           The flower stamp is from a local craft shop, Great Impressions.
           Afrikaans sentiments saying:' Congratulations', on the CTS card.  
           Sentiment saying: 'Thank you very much', on the FMS card.

Mojo Monday #400 and CTS#125

Hi everyone!!!


Posting two cards this afternoon!!!

First up is my card for the 400th sketch over at the Mojo Monday  Blog!!!  This is the lovely sketch by Julee:                                                               

and this is the card I've made:

Polka dot paper from my stash.
Verve goodies used:  Flowers from the Lean on Me stamp set, Elegant Leaves die and Charming Banner die for the sentiment.
Rings cut with Spellbinders nesties.
Sequins and black plastic dots complete the picture.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Just for You'.




Next up is my card for this week's sketch over at the Case this Sketch Blog.  Not much time left before the LinkUp closes!!!  The lovely sketch:

 

and the card I've made:

 Arrows cut with Tim Holtz Chevron die.
Daisy die from MFT.  Leaves stamp from PTI.
Added some black plastic dots and a rhinestone and it was done!!!!
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

VLV May Week 2 & PPA#252

Hi everyone!!!!


It's late already, but I want to post two cards before I'm off to bed.
First up is my card for the Week 2 sketch of the Viva La Verve challenge for May.
This is the sketch:

Used my Daisy stamp from Verve as well as stamps from the Bloom & Grow, Friendly Phrases and Borderline stamp sets. 
Verve dies used: Pennant Trim, Elegant Leaves and Charming Banner dies.
Chevron die from Tim Holtz.
Added sequins and black plastic dots to finish it off.

Oops, just spotted an ant on my card in the bottom photo!!!! 




Next up is the sketch at the Pals Paper Arts Blog.

and my card:

Used two bg stamps by Glitz.  Sentiment stamp by Verve.
Daisies and leaves punched by hand.
Arrows cut with Tim Holtz chevron die.
Hexagons cut by hand.
Added my usual sequins and black plastic dots and it was done.



Have been busy with knitting over weekend and today, but will be visiting blogs again in the morning.

This week the sketch is one by Stacey and I loved it the minute I saw it for the first time:



 

 

 

This is the card I have made:

Lots of Verve goodies used:  Mini Classy Label and Charming Banner dies and stamps from the Borderline, Bloom & Grow and Friendly Phrases stamp sets.
The piece of designer paper is from my stash.
Added a hand punched daisy, a sequin and black plastic dots and it was done!!!!

Have you seen the great sketch by Cindy over at the Freshly made Sketches Blog??  I just had to put the knitting aside for a while to make a card!!!!  The sketch:

and my card:

 

The butterfly stamp is from KaiserCraft.  Coloured it with coloured pencils.
Leaves stamp and die from PTI.   Sentiment banner dies from Verve.
Done sort of a bokeh effect on the black using my Platinum Planet ink pad by Dew Drop.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.


Have to be off to prepare supper!!!

CTS#124

Hi, everyone!!!


Oh, boy, am I excited to bring you this post!!!!   Yep, Chrissy, from CTS, asked me to be Guest Designer for the week!!!  Those of you who follow my blog will know that I LOVE to play the CTS game, so how could I not say YES!!!!  Thank you so much to Chrissy and her DT for giving me this opportunity to be guest designer - what a great honour!!!!

So this is the great sketch Chrissy has for us this week:

I've done my bg with washi tape strips and Spiced Marmelade DI and added some paint splatters.
Flower stamp and die from Verve.  Coloured my flower with a koki pen and added some shine with 3D clear Gloss.
Sentiment computer generated.  Sentiment banner dies from Verve.
Leaves stamps from PTI.
Arrows cut with Tim Holtz chevron die and given some shine with 3D clear Gloss.
Added two sequins and black plastic dots and it was done!!!!
