CTS#112 and PPA#241




Hi everyone!!!!



Posting two cards again this afternoon.
First up is my card for this week's sketch over at the Case this Sketch Blog.
This is what the sketch looks like:





 and this is my card:




 
 
Swiss dot EF from Cuttlebug.  Daisy die from MFT.
Sentiment cut with Tim Holtz alphabet die.  Given the sentiment some shine with 3D Clear Gloss.
Washi tape, twine and three black plastic dots complete the card.
 
 
 
The second card is for the sketch challenge over at the Pals Paper Arts Blog.

Patterned paper from echo park paper co.
Leaves stamp and die and sentiment banner dies from Verve.  Flower die from MFT.
Arrow stamp from Verve.  Arrows cut with Tim Holts chevron die.
Finished it off with a twine bow, sequins and black plastic dots.

Another AAA#33



Hi again everyone!!!


Another card to link to the AAA Cards Blog where the game is to play with orange.




This is my second card:






Polka dot paper from BoBunny.
Flower and flourish dies from MFT.
A sequin and black plastic dot in the centre of the flower, complete the card
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

AAA#33



Hi everyone!!!!

I've got two cards to share this morning, but I'll have to do it in two different posts as it's both for the AAA Cards game to play with orange.



This is the card I have made:






Flower stamp from a local craft shop, Great Impressions.
Given the flower some shine with 3D Clear Gloss.
Used dry wall tape and DI to do the bottom part.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

Monday means a new sketch over at the Mojo Monday Blog.

I made my card slightly narrower and taller than usual, but it does not really show up in the photos.

Another FMS#174



Hi everyone!!!


Back again with another card for the sketch challenge over at the Freshly made Sketches Blog.
This is Cindy's sketch for the week:

 
 
 
and my second take on it:
 





I've done the top panel with DI, watercolour paint, dry wall tape and water.
Flower die from MFT.  Leaves stamp and die from PTI.
Sentiment and diamonds cut with Tim Holtz dies.
I've given the sentiment and hexagon some shine with 3D Clear Gloss.
Rounded it off with scorelines and black plastic dots.

I've used some washi tape to do the diagonal strip.
Daisy stamp from Verve.  Leaves stamp and die from PTI.
Diamonds cut with Tim Holtz lattice die.  Hexagon ring cut by hand.
Added some twine, sequins and black plastic dots and it was done.
