First card I'm sharing this morning is one for the sketch challenge over at the Freshly Made Sketches Blog. The sketch:

The pieces of patterned paper are from Teresa Collins and KaiserKraft.
Flower and flourish die from MFT. Sentiment banner dies from Verve.
Arrows cut with Tim Holtz chevron die.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.
I've also made a card to link at the Happy Little Stampers August sketch challenge.

Such pretty cards Petra. Love the soft looking layered flower. The peach color is so pretty. The arrow elements look awesome. The second card is so sweet. The sequins look great as the banner lines... fantastic take on both sketches.

ik denk dat je Nederlands ook kunt lezen. Ik kan het Zuid-Afrikaans prima lezen. Ik vond je bij Freshleymadesketches, je winnende kaart.
Wat een prachtige kaart! Ik ben gaan kijken en zie dat je veel meer van dit soort mooie kaarten maakt. Natuurlijk word ik volger.
Je kaart met de sequins is ook super mooi.

#1 is so well designed, with the black graphics, the ledger banner, and that beautiful rose & flourish. #2 is equally gorgeous with the design and those sparkling sequins used as a banner with the tiny flowers interspersed. A brilliant design and you are so clever!!! Love both of these. TFS & Hugs

You always have some of the most interesting design elements, Petra. The way those chevrons perfectly accentuate the corners is remarkably effective. And I love the teeny sparkly banners! Adorbs!
Two beautiful cards set against your lovely backdrop. Love how you have combined so many different elements in your first card--great idea how those little chevron arrows point to your focal point. That flower is just amazing. And, I really love the clever take on our sketch at HLS. So unique and fun--I never would have thought of a sequin and flower banner, and now I wonder why everyone wouldn't do a sequin and flower banner.
