I've joined in the fun over at the RetroSketches Blog again, but I must admit that this sketch has been one of the most difficult sketches for me to work with so far!! I really struggled to come up with a card that I was satisfied with and only when I went back to the Rondelle collection of papers by Prima, did I manage to make a card that I think did not turn out TO badly!! I just couldn't find the right piece of bg paper - believe me I have tried a LOT!! ...and in the end I ended up with a card on which I could do the chalkboard effect again!! (yesterday when I did my first chalkboard card I would not have guessed that I would be doing one this morning too!!)
Here's my card:
and this is the sketch:
Stamps are all by Verve and the dies by Verve and Spellbinders.
Added some seambinding and pearls and it was finally done!!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day!!
Petra, looking at your card one wouldn't think it had been a problem. It is lovely and you have used the papers, very well. It is also a great sketch that you used. Have a good week, hugs, Ursula
Such a pretty card Petra! Love those beautiful flowers and the pretty pearls!
Your cards are amazing Petra. Loving the chalkboard effect. Nothing wrong with the background paper. hugs Sharon x
Gorgeous card! (And I love the mountains in the background!) Thanks for playing along with us at Retro Sketches!
If it makes you feel any better Petra I struggled with it too - and I made the original LOL! I think you've done an awesome job...I love those Prima papers and they look gorgeous layered together like that. Thanks for joining in at Retro Sketches this week!
(And is that your view from your back yard? How stunning!)
Great take on the sketch - I hope you'll link up at 52 Card Pickup this week!
Gorgeous! Love what you did with the sketch! Fun chalkboard look! Love the ribbon and the flower placement too!
