I made a card for the sketch challenge over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog, last night.
This is what the sketch looks like:
and this is what my card looks like:
The daisy punch that I've used, I've had for ages - one of the first crafty goodies that I owned!!!
I've given the daisies some shine with stickles.
Used some dry wall tape and watercolour paint to do the bg strip.
Banner dies from Verve. Flourish die from MFT.
Added a twine bow and some black plastic dots.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.
So that's my card and that will be it for now!!! Thanks for popping in - your visits and comments are always appreciated!!!!

Great take on the sketch Petra. Love the shimmer on the daisies and the black and white colourway. Think I'm going to call you the Queen of dry wall tape - you use it to such good effect!

Very rarely do you come across a design that's so distressed and clearly very well thought out. You've got an amazing eye for layering.

Fantastic card Petra. Love the gray and white... so artsy with the dry wall tape/ink panel... the paint drips look great... oh, those daisies... sweet! Love the sparkle.
