DT call card

Hi everyone!!!!

Ka, from Stamping Smiles Designs is having a DT call for a new Tic-Tac-Toe challenge she is going to start next year.  I had such a lot of fun creating a card to be considered for a DT spot!!!!

I choose the diagonal row,   'Twine - Embossing - Thank You Card',    to work with.
This is the card I created:

I've heat embossed the leaves and flower with clear EP.  Flower coloured with DI.
Swiss dot EF from Cuttlebug.
Leaves stamp from PTI.
Flower stamp from a local craft shop, Great Impressions.
Sentiment stamp and small circle stamp from Altenew.
Notepad edge die from MFT.

Not much time left to link my card!!!!

Thank you so much for popping in - always a pleasure to have you visiting!!!!

Have a wonderful day!!!

Hello, Petra! I think you are sure to be chosen for the DT. Your cards are always top-notch! This one is gorgeous! I love how you have placed each item to create a wonderful design! I have a notebook edge die and forgot to use it - I love how you have added it as a design element here! Thanks for the inspiration! Best wishes for this DT call!

First off, in my opinion, you are a SLAM DUNK for a spot on the DT....especially with this stunner!

You are truly one of the most talented ladies out there who has the natural ability to combine card elements in a beautiful and perfectly balanced design! This card is no exception...it is stunning!

Love the water droplets on the leaves beside your card! Best of luck with your DT application :)

Hi Petra,

You're a rock star in this community, Petra, and ever so deserving of being selected to join this DT (by the way, Addicted to Stamps and More is also seeking new designers...hint, hint). Your card here is yet more evidence of your incredible talent for combining elements that create visual harmony, time and again. In two words: stunning and innovative. Cheering for you with your application...

Your cards are always so clean and elegant Petra and this is no exception. I love the way you wind the twine in a pretty shape behind the flower and leaves and you have just used the Swiss Dots on the bottom and added a few random small circles, and with that notebook edge and the sentiment which stands out beautifully with the white font on black. You certainly deserve a DT place with your clever designs. x

I am so glad I am not the only one to wait till the last minute!! I don't know if you did this at the last minute but WOW Petra this is amazing!!! Only you can make notebook fringe look elegant!! This card has a lot of detail but yet it is so simple in its design.. From the swiss dots, to the twine, right down to the simple bling... all done so well... Okay hopping around a bit more on your blog... Off I go!!
