Done some sponging with Stormy Sky and Black Soot DI's   In the photo my sponging looks as if it hasn't really been done very neatly, but IRL it actually looks fine!!!!

So glad you made it in time for CTS! This is a fantastic card, and your sponging looks great to me. Love the circles behind the star; that's so clever and gives your design so much interest. Great card!! Bev

Hi, Petra! How did you do the star? Did you have a die? If so, you did an amazing technique combination! Love LOVE the sponging, you always incorporate organics and geometrics so beautifully! WOW! XO

Hello wonderful, amazing Petra! Hanging my head in shame at being so behind in commenting; as I mentioned in my recent "poor me" post, life’s been supremely hectic, what with work, travel (which involved work…crazy amounts!), DT commitments (which I’ve fallen behind in, too) and a plethora of other stuff! I hope that my ‘thought bubbles of love’ for all your cards have reached you, because I send them frequently! Starting with a fresh slate with a goal to staying caught up. Once again, I'm experience jaw-dropped, breath-taken-away awe at how innovative you are! This card is brilliant and beautiful; an amazing translation of the sketch. So impressive!

Your sponging looks absolutely AH-MAAAAAZING in the photo! Beautifully blended with a soft, seamless transition from one color to the next! It looks like the white panel with the star is popped up? I'm really curious to know how you did the 'star within the star' cut without cutting the paper? Did you use the technique where you hang the paper over the edge of the impression plate so that it won't cut?

Sorry for the long comment, but this card is so amazing and I want to know all the details :)

Your card could not be more original, and wonderful, Petra! OH my goodness ... you are just amazing! Although I know you were inspired by the clouds in the sketch - goodness knows your own skies are cloudless most of the time!!! Thank you so much for joining in the fun this week at CTS!

I spot a winner and your view is still spectacular as always!!!!! I'm so sorry I haven't been round to visit much of late, I seem to be constantly behind with all my commenting and have all your blog posts sitting in my In-box waiting for me to leave you some love. Just wanted to say I love everything you've been doing and will leave some comments when I get a chance. Enjoy your weekend!!!!
