FMS#222

Hi everyone!!!!

A great sketch by Narelle up at the Freshly Made Sketches Blog!!!!

I've made two cards following the sketch:

All dies from MFT.
Sentiment stamp from Altenew.
Grid stamp from Studio g.  Heat embossed in silver.
The frame has been sewn partly to the vellum overlay.

This is the second one, which I will use as a wedding card for friends of ours' whose daughter is getting married in March:

The daisy stamp is from Verve.
Winked my daisy and the scalloped strip.

Have to go and have a look at the fig jam I'm making - it's smelling good!!!!

So nice of you to pop in!!!
Have a great Sunday!!!!

Two more of your lovely & colorful designs. I really like the way you use the frame shapes combined with the other elements...it looks super with the vellum, and clever idea to sew the vellum to attach it! I never know how to adhere properly. The mustard gold shade of #1's background, shows off the different elements splendidly, and I liked #2- more subdued, but equally lovely. Wonderful cards for the occasion...You're amazing! TFS & Have a great week. Hugs

Wow Petra, isn't it amazing how much a colour can change the feeling of a design!! That orange is so up-lifting and I love it paired with the orange flower and black details. The white design is so stylish and peaceful. Love the black and white flower and the shimmer details are gorgeous. Both of these are spectacular!!!

Glad I scrolled down the page a bit because this post never showed up in my mailbox ???

Two more beauties!!! The harvest gold/yellow paper highlights the black and white (and wee shcmick of green) beautifully! Nice little bit of drywall tape too :)

Your second card....total elegance! Soft, subtle and the perfect amount of bling and glitz! Adore the angles!
