CTS#203

Hi everyone!!!!

I started playing with the current sketch by Michele, over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog, on Friday already and only had time to finish it this afternoon!!!!  This is the sketch:

and my card:

Rose stamp from PTI.
Sentiment stamps from Verve and PTI.
Some fussy cutting and it was done!!!!

And that will be it - will quickly link my card and then I'm off to bed, it's very late!!!!!!!
Such a pleasure having you here - hope to see you again soon!!!!!

This is so beautiful, Petra! The way the flower nestles into the curves and angles of the die is just gorgeous!

Seriously gorgeous card, Petra!! At first, I thought you partially die cut this...but it's all fussy cut! I'm very impressed as I couldn't do this to save my life, lol!! That rose is beautiful, and I'm loving the yellows you've chosen for it. I think you've got a winner here. Bev

Amazing design Petra. Even though you've used the sketch, you have made it your own by fussy cutting around your gorgeous bloom. Beautiful! xx

Oh Petra I just love this card!! So simple and elegant!! The pop of yellow is what makes it so pretty and your 'beautiful' flourish is so fitting and right for this card... And of course you embellish so simply with your little rhinestones...I love this card Petra!! Seriously good!!

Hi Petra!!! What a beautiful card this is!! So Darnell just filled me in on how comment replies work, I had no idea that when I reply to someone's comment on my blog, it doesn't notify them. I just assumed you would be notified!! Anyway, thank you sooo much for the sweet comment that you left on my blog. I replied, but you may not have seen it, so I'm going to copy and paste it here on your blog. Hope I'm doing this right now... lol Hi Petra!! Yes!! Of course I remember you!! I can totally relate.. I haven’t been around blogland either. Life has just been way too chaotic. On top of that, I’ve been dealing with some health issues the past few months. In fact, these are the 1st 2 blog posts/videos that I’ve done in ages. I miss it like crazy though. I haven’t been keeping up on my crafty friends’ blogs either so I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things now. Thank you so much for the oh so sweet comment. You really made me happy. I’m soooo glad you like my photo tutorials. I’ve been thinking a lot about them lately and I’ve been wondering if I should continue to blog that way or if I should simplify it like most other people do… I’m really torn. It would be a time saver to simplify it, but it’s what I like to see in blogs so that’s why I do it that way. I like to give anyone who is interested as much info. as possible if they were to want to make it themselves. And you commenting on that specifically makes me happy to hear that someone is enjoying my tutorials. So thank you so much for your comment. Hahaha, you are not alone on the distress inks. I’m so envious of people that can put this light layer of color right in the middle of their card. There’s NO way I’d be able to do that!! But thanks to these clarity brushes, I can actually do just that now. I do love DI’s, they just don’t love me… 😉 Well I’m so happy to see you back in blogland!! Let’s keep in touch, ok? Happy New Year to you as well. Hugs ~
