Another CTS#210 and FMS#277

Hi everyone!!!!!

I made a 3rd card to link at the current CAS(E) this Sketch Blog!!!!  This sketch:

I've worked with vellum, again and made this card:

The gold embossing on the vellum doesn't really show nicely in the photo.  The skeleton leaves on the card base are stamped in grey and black.  Stamp from MFT.
The sentiment banner dies are from Verve.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

It's been ages since I last played with patterned papers, so for my Freshly Made Sketches card, I decided to have a look at what papers I had to use.  The sketch:

...and my card:

Patterned papers from Echo Park and Teresa Collins.
The die cut vellum overlay was a gift from a sweet friend!!!!   Thanks, Michele!!!
Leaves die from Cheery Lynn.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.
I really like how this card turned out!!!!

I don't think there's enough time left to have a 4th go at the CTS sketch!!!!  LOL!!!!

Friends of ours brought us some lovely fresh tomatoes from the garden, yesterday and I'm going to be cooking some jam this afternoon!!!!!  Nothing like a slice of fresh bread with homemade tomato jam!!!!!

That will be it for now!!!!  Thank you so much for spending some time with me!!!!!!  Hope to see you again, soon!!!!

Hi Petra,

I was triggered by your card on the Freshly made sketches blog. I thing it is beautiful!! The sentiment is almost Dutch, which is 'Veel geluk' without the 's'... Glad I found your blog, love it!

#1 fairly blew me away. What a striking design, and I love the vellum with the 'stamp off' - most effective. You've not lost your touch with the patterned papers either. Two fresh & very beautiful Petra cards! Loved both of them. TFS & Hugs

Two beautiful cards Petra. The first one has that vellum that catched my eye...gorgeous and the second one is so lovely by the way you've used the different papers and the bow behind the flower. I love them both...

Heel mooie kaartjes weer Petra! Deze sketchen passen goed bij jou stijl, of is het andersom? De eerste is mooi subtiel met dat goud en de tweede is goed gevonden! leuk dat schuine stukje papier.

Oh my! Loving your amazing cards today, Miss Petra! Not only do I get a glimpse of your glorious mountains and trees, but two fantastic ideas using vellum. The gold embossing on the first card is GENIUS! Love that idea. I would never have thought of using the sketch the way you did on your second marvelous creation. LOVE THOSE LAYERS! You always utilize angles in such an interesting manner. I have pinned both these beauties to perhaps case them on a later date - but in the meantime, my followers will treasure them! love, de

These are so gorgeous, Petra! I think the gold embossing on the vellum shows up perfectly and I love how the design continues onto the card but in ink. Genius idea! Your second card is so pretty - I love how you've layered and angled the panesl for a beautiful card design! Always a joy to see your cards! Have a great weekend, my friend!

Hey there pal! I noticed the gold embossing right off the hop and thought to my self...."this 'highlight' embossing is so cool and really works!" Love the velum label too :)

2nd card - gorgeous CAS design with a really, really cool layout! I love the whimsical feel that the angled panels and the blak twine create!

Another beauty Petra!! Your designs are so crisp and clear. If that were me I would have my fingerprints all over the place. You are a wizard with black my friend. But, I must say my favorite part is the offset paper and that you didn't trim the top or bottom!! So creative!! So original!! So Petra!! Love this!!

How beautiful your two cards, Petra! The leaves and vellum of the first are such a pretty pairing! I don't 'do' vellum, so seeing you create with it leaves a special impression on me. The layers and papers of the second are delightful; a wonderful stage for your sweet bloom and sentiment! Eye for design: you most certainly have that in abundance!
