FMS#174

Hi everyone!!!

What a lovely sketch by Cindy over at the Freshly made Sketches Blog this week.
This is what the sketch looks like:

I've made this card following the sketch:

I've used some washi tape to do the diagonal strip.
Daisy stamp from Verve.  Leaves stamp and die from PTI.
Diamonds cut with Tim Holtz lattice die.  Hexagon ring cut by hand.
Added some twine, sequins and black plastic dots and it was done.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

Thank you so much for popping in - your visits and comments are always appreciated!!!!

Such a pretty card and a great interpretation of the sketch Petra. The brightly coloured washy tape is a lovely contrast to the more neutral flower and leaves and twine. x

Totally fabulous card! All your elements work so well together and the washi tape is a great way to show the diagonal on the sketch. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.

Those zesty colours in the washi are luscious with the black and white ... and as ever, that bloom is just gorgeous! Anita :)

What an amazing group of elements. LOVE the washi strips - particularly the pop of green. The diamond shapes with rhinestones are a lovely accent. The flower is beautifully wrapped in the twine and leaves. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
